WEBSITE NEWS

The North Texas Website Taskforce is in the process of getting our website redesigned to better serve our members and friends. Since metrics are at the core of everything we do at USGBC North Texas, USGBC national and for the improvement of the built environment, we are going to provide you with a website that has all the whistles and bells and resources it takes to expand green building practices, education, social equity, advocacy and the LEED Green Building Rating System across North Texas, in addition to staying in touch with our members. Please bear with us while we build a new site!

USGBC’s education programs are proactively changing in response to transformations to the LEED® Rating Systems, LEED-Online and LEED certification that comprise the new LEED v3 – as well as to changes in the Green Building Certification Institute’s (GBCI) LEED credentialing program. LEED for Retail Needs Your Vote

Because LEED’s greatest strength is in the diverse voices that power the rating systems’ consensus-driven development, USGBC needs to hear the voices of all member organizations. Primary contacts are encouraged to vote in the LEED 2009 for Retail ballot. All member organizations are encouraged to vote and make their voices heard, even if your work is not in the retail sector. If you are not your organization’s primary contact, make sure your primary contact is aware of the ballot and understands that it’s important to you that your organization’s voice is heard.
